For Haitian & Haitian-American couples

Built in Haitian light, made for the way you love.

Other relationship apps feel like they were built in Brooklyn lofts. Soleil was built with Haiti in its bones — kompa as your shared groove, Creole and French phrases as your sweet talk, and rendez-vous that hold both the laughter and the lakou.

Kompa is your shared groove

Two days a week, Soleil picks a 90-second song you both press play on — Tabou Combo, Kassav', Carimi, T-Vice. It becomes the smallest, sweetest ritual of your week.

Creole & French, gently woven

Maître Soleil — your AI relationship companion — greets you with Bonjou cheri and Kijan ou ye? when you want him to. No pressure, no caricature.

Rendez-vous, not chores

Three soft beats a day instead of a checklist: Sunbeam in the morning, a Hidden Quest or Shared Groove at midday, Le Petit Moment at night.

A day in Soleil

Three soft beats. Under five minutes.

7:42 am

Sunbeam

Both partners pick a mood card (Bright · Steady · Tender · Heavy · Scattered) and see each other land.

12:17 pm

Shared Groove or Hidden Quest

Tuesday & Thursday: same kompa or zouk track, both partners, 90 seconds. Mon/Wed/Fri: one playful question, answered in private until you both finish.

9:08 pm

Le Petit Moment

One sentence: Tendresse · Rire · Mot doux · Petit win · Présence. When you both post, the day seals into your Mémoire.

What's inside

The cultural texture

Why it fits

Made by a Haitian, for the diaspora.

Most couples apps assume one cultural script — therapist-speak, English-only, white-coded. Soleil starts somewhere else. The brand is Haitian Naïf Art meets luxury wellness, the daily soundtrack leans kompa and zouk, and the founder is Haitian-American.

You can keep the Caribbean lens on, or switch to Pan-African, Afro-Latin, South Asian, East Asian, or Multicultural — Maître Soleil's voice and the in-app music shift to match. Your culture isn't a setting in Soleil; it's the starting point.

Bonjou, cheri. Kijan ou santi w jodi a? — pa gen presyon. Yon ti rayon de soley pou nou.
— Maître Soleil

Common questions

What couples ask

Does Soleil really play kompa, or is it just a label?

Real kompa. Shared Groove rotates a curated catalog of kompa, zouk, Afrobeats, Caribbean R&B, and jazz tracks — same song for both partners, 90 seconds, twice a week. We've intentionally avoided lo-fi background music in the rotation.

Will my partner who isn't Haitian feel welcome?

Yes. Soleil is built Caribbean-first but it's a relationship app, not a cultural test. Pick the lens that fits you both — Caribbean, Pan-African, Afro-Latin, Multicultural — and Maître Soleil and the music adjust.

How much does Soleil cost in francophone countries?

Same as everywhere — $12.99/month or $89/year for both partners. One flat price worldwide. App-store regional pricing may adjust the local currency amount automatically.

Can I use Creole and English with Maître Soleil?

Maître Soleil reads what you write and responds in the tone you set. You can write in English, French, or Creole and he'll meet you where you are.

Is Soleil therapy?

No, and we don't pretend to be. Soleil is the daily layer between sessions, or for the 80% of couples who'll never see a therapist but still want to stay close.
