For South Asian couples

A quiet daily rendez-vous, made for South Asian love.

South Asian love carries weight that most relationship apps don't acknowledge — family expectation, religion, distance, generational rewriting. Soleil is the daily couples app built to hold the small daily closeness without flattening any of that.

South Asian lens, on request

Set your lens at onboarding. Maître Soleil's voice softens — fewer therapy-speak phrases, more cultural attunement, including ghazal references and the language of long Indian summers.

Music that means something

Shared Groove can rotate Bollywood, Pakistani indie, ghazal, qawwali, and Tamil classics. Same song, both partners, 90 seconds, twice a week.

Prompts that don't pretend

Soleil's decks include in-law dynamics, religion, distance, and the work of being a first-generation couple — without making your relationship a case study.

What's inside

The cultural texture

Why it fits

Built for the love between two cultures and two families.

First-generation South Asian love is layered — you're often writing a new script while your parents quote the old one. Most couples apps weren't built for that.

Soleil's South Asian lens shifts the companion's voice, the music, and the prompts. The app stays minimal and beautiful; your culture stops being an asterisk.

Jaan — ek lamha. One small pause, just for the two of you. The rest can wait.
— Maître Soleil

Common questions

What couples ask

Is Soleil culturally competent for South Asian couples?

We built the lens with South Asian couples in mind, but it's a work in progress. The companion shifts voice; the music includes ghazal, Bollywood, qawwali, and Tamil classics; the prompts respect family complexity. Feedback is welcome.

Can I use it in Hindi or Urdu?

The interface is in English today. Maître Soleil reads what you write, including Roman Hindi or Roman Urdu, and responds in your tone.

Is this only for Hindu, Muslim, or Sikh couples?

No. The South Asian lens is religious-neutral. Set it once, then add or skip whichever holiday drops feel like yours.

Does Soleil work for arranged or love marriages?

Yes. Soleil cares about the daily floor — both arrangements end up in the same place, needing the same small daily care.
